faithful evangelist. With compassion and love, this
congregation of dedicated Christians ministers to the
needs of its members and to those in the community. It
reaches out to all who struggle with worldly or personal
injustice, and strives to give peace to each troubled
soul. As a church nurtured in God's love and grace, it
comforts the lonely, cares for those in need, and shares
the good news of Christ's love and our salvation. |

Our Congregation!
| We trace our roots back to a
small Sunday School group that began meeting near this
site in 1924 and were known as the Prestonia
Presbyterian Church until 1938 when we changed names to
Fourth Presbyterian Church. The sanctuary and most of
the other structures on site were constructed between
1940 and 1955. From then till now we have been blessed
with strong leadership from the pulpit and the
congregation at large and we are very active in the
Presbytery and our local community. |
